Application of Thermoelectric Module for Temperature Control
Gofroň, Vojtěch ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the possibilities of use thermoelectric modules for temperature control in a temperature chamber. In the theoretical part are shown physical principles of thermoelectric cooling, heating and power generation. The main part regarding thermoelectric modules describes its design, use and important parameters for temperature control. The next chapter is focused on measuring of quantities important for temperature control using thermoelectric modules. The last part describes few proposals of a temperature chamber design.
Thermoelectric cloud chamber
Tomčan, Petr ; Chýlek, Radomír (referee) ; Brázdil, Marian (advisor)
This experimental bachelor thesis deals with the design and construction of a thermoelectric cloud chamber for monitoring natural radioactivity and charged particles. The theoretical part of this experimental work characterizes the basic physical principles that are applied in cloud chambers, particles observable in cloud chambers and other types of cloud chambers. The practical part of the work deals with the design and construction of a diffusion cloud chamber with emphasis on intensive heat dissipation. Part of the work is the drawing documentation needed for production and assembly.
Thermoelectric cooler construction
Murgaš, Martin ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (referee) ; Brázdil, Marian (advisor)
Bachelor thesis will concern description of Peltier modules and detailed description of thermoelectric phenomena’s on which is principle of these modules based on. Thermoelectric materials and their properties will be mentioned as well as different applications of Peltier modules. Heat losses of the cooler will be described. Onwards it describes mathematical model of Peltier modules and their coefficient of performance. Also mounting of modules, types of power supply and types of regulation are mentioned. Experimental part consists of calculation and designing of cooling assembly.
Thermostat for system testing at low temperatures
Sedláček, Jiří ; Hrdý, Radim (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with proposal and construction of device that should serve for testing of developed electronic circuits at lower temperatures than the ambient temperature in laboratory. Thermoelectric Peltier’s coolers are used for cooling. The temperature regulation is provided by microcontroller control. The thesis is divided into three parts. First part includes necessary theory for realization of the device. In second part there is the detailed description of construction and function of the device. The third part summarises the measured parameters of the device. The thesis includes the technical documentation.
Micro cooling with Peltier cell
Brázdil, Marian ; Bogdálek, Jan (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This work concerns detail description of thermoelectric cooling modules, principles and practical utilization of thermoelectric cooling modules. Experimental part of this work studies computer cooling. Distribution of temperature at the cold and hot side of the thermoelectric cooling module as a function of load of a processor was measured. The obtained temperatures were compared with the common cooling methods.
